Tom Cruise is coming up with the sequel of his action film Top Gun that released back in 1986. It is directed by Joseph Kosinski and story by Peter Craig and Justin Marks. Jerry Bruckheimer, Cruise, Christopher McQuarrie, and David Ellison are the producers of the second flick. Cruise went through intensive training for this film, and also trained junior co-stars.

Release Date

The filming of the upcoming action film was already completed back in 2019. Top Gun Maverick has faced many delays in the release. In the beginning, it was set to release in the cinemas on July 12, 2019, but then Paramount decided to shift it to next year.

But this year, Paramount again had to postpone the release of the sequel due to coronavirus pandemic as the Government already shut theatres for safety reasons. So, it was supposed to release on June 26, 2020, and now it will arrive on December 23, 2020.

Plot Details
